     Welcome to the Holmes Ranch of Rogue River, Oregon. We take Great Pride in Breeding & Raising Foundation Bred American Quarter & Paint Horses in a True Family Environment. Our Ranch was established in 1999. Our Horses are chosen for their Conformation, Pedigree, Athletic Ability, Cow Sense & Most Importantly Temperament & Disposition.

 

     Our Founding Stallion "Poco Lynx Command" a.k.a. "Classy" is a 1988 AQHA 92% Foundation Bred Sorrel Stallion, who is an own Grandson of the Legendary Doc's Lynx, his Pedigree features Doc Bar, Poco Bueno, Joe Reed, Hollywood Gold, Pep Up & More. He has been an Oustanding Sire of Quarter & Paint Horses with Lots of Color & Athletic Ability. Many of his Daughters have been kept by us to carry on as Wonderful Working Horses & Broodmares, we also have his Son "Pocos Classic Shadow" a.k.a. "Shadow" who is 90% Foundation Bred.
